Membership of the Association

As a member of the CSA, you are recognised as being part of a professional association. We are the only body in the UK aimed specifically at developing and improving the commissioning function to provide building users, consultant engineers main contractors and installation companies with a professional, quality service carried out by trained and experienced staff.  The CSA is also at the forefront of career development and training for the Building Services, Commissioning and HVAC industries.  The CSA provide professionally developed learning materials specialising in Distance Learning courses and supply the support of expert tutors to help guide you through grades 1-6.  These qualifications ensure a consistent and uniform standard for the Commissioning industry.

We are recognised by bodies such as CIBSE, BSRIA and B&ES and have also been consulted by Government departments on issues such as climate change and their effect on legislation, such as changes to Part L.

To apply for membership of the Commissioning Specialists Association, please complete and return the appropriate application form to the CSA Secretary.

The Articles of the Association, its Constitution & Code of Practice are included in the Members Handbook which will be issued to you on acceptance of the company/Individual into Membership of the Association. Should you require prior sight of these documents, please contact the CSA Secretary.
